Has anyone figured out a safe way to keep kids from schlumping over in the back seat when they fall asleep? My wife found this thing but it is for side to side. She wanted to tie a soft roll thing to the headrest but I said if we get it a wreck it could hurt his neck. Any ideas? This was the thing we got for side to side but doesn’t keep his head from bobbing down to his chest. (Picture from box)

I thought about that too, problem is the head bobbing down.

he has a 4 point in my Buick Grand National but he doesn’t fall asleep in that car.

That one looks pretty good. My only concern is if we got in a wreck would the headstrap break free to prevent jerking his forhead up and back as his body slid forward.

Interstate 5 is like a war zone during the holidays so I have to be prepared for anything.

Honestly, if he is asleep for the accident he will be fully relaxed. Wouldn't that be better than a restraint? Wet noodles bend; stiff noodles break. (shut up @COMiamiFan and @TXRailRoads73 I know what I said.)

Just a thought, but I'm sleep deprived so I might be a bit more retarded than normal right now.
