    Hello everyone,
I bought a 2010 v6 4.0L 1GR-FE tundra about 4 years ago. It’s been a great truck and recently I’ve decided to try and update it for fun and make it into a nicer truck. I’ve always had to use my key to unlock/lock the truck and always want to try an do keyless entry. Well looking forum to forum I saw that i should look up the vin and see the info about it. The vin look up stated I have Remote keyless entry for the truck which had me excited, but also know it is “work grade.” Well I took apart the rear passenger column and found that I had the plug for the receiver but not receiver box. I went on eBay and found a used box and installed it to the harness. After buying some fobs I tried the many “do this do that” methods to try and program the but no luck. I even went as far as getting a v12 tech stream and obb2 reader, but nothing showed for remote pairing (luckily I found codes and was able to fix some stuff so a win at least). Also found out I don’t have an immobilizer?!?!? I’ve been trying to wrap my head around all of it to try and get it to work and am reaching the end of the line. This is my last cry for help before giving up. Any ideas or recommendations? I rather not do after market out of spite for wanting to make the oem system work… a little to stubborn for my own good. Thanks in advance for any info yall can provide!!
