I know there are older threads on this, but here’s some pics of a Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 285/75R18 (true 35” d, 11.6” width) barely squeezing in (have to remove stock guide brackets)

Did you jack the truck up to lift the tires off the ground for full droop? Maybe it’s the photo angle, but it sure looks as though the shackle will hit the tire when it swings forward at droop.

Yep. Looks like he's gonna eat the tread up in those spots from the shackles rubbin on that tire.

315/70r17 also tight but some room.

I’ve got a 285/75/18 (best size for the Tundra in my opinion) hoisted up in the spare spot as well.

Remove the guides and you are set.

    Looks good.

Shackles are going to gouge the tire.

But…I let the air out from 40 psi —> 20 psi, and I found a helper, so was able to push it further forward ( had been doing it solo)

I got my 35x12.5x18 to fit.

removed brackets and let all the air out of the spare. Raised it carefully.

I do carry an air compressor to fill it though

Good to hear. I’ve actually got 2 compressors, a little cigarette outlet deal, and a Morrflate. I’ll keep an eye on this, and I’ll completely deflate if need be.
I spent $700 on this spare tire/wheel..,really don’t want to put in the bed or have to buy anymore stuff (rear bumper, roof rack)

285/75/18 Duratraks, 5.29’s and Powertrax in the rear, Eibach Pro lift coils, JBA UCAs, RAS and CB Plus 3, AT transmission cooler, RAGO dash plate, Boost Tow mirrors
I just installed CB shackles, RAS, 285/75/18 duratraks, and had to do the same. I knew it would be tight, so I chose to find a spare that was worn but usable. I cut the arms off the guides and it fit. I pushed it forward as well to get more clearance. A new tire may have had issues, depending on true size and Discount has the Duratrak at over 35” in this size. I paid $70 for the tire. More money for other mods.

I know you said no more stuff, but another option would be go back to stock shackles and swap out the leaf springs to get the lift

    $70!
    I should’ve done that…
These Falkens are 10 ply with 3 ply sidewalls, and I always air down when the going gets rough. I’ve never had a flat, but doing more solo stuff now and want to be prepared for the worst. Likely a waste of money, but YOLO
    :spending:
