So I'm at a loss right now.
I got a 2000 tundra SR5 access cab 4x4 with the 4.7 with roughly 220k miles on it.

Let me start off with a little backstory.
I blew the motor a little bit ago and I got a replacement one with about 150k miles and swapped it in. I had issues with it dumping motor oil on the ground so I got it towed to my shop, filled it back eith oil and DROVE it into a bay. I pulled my Trans to see why to find that my dumbass forgot to put the rear main seal plate bolts back in. I resealed the plate and slapped some bolts in it, put it all back together and same thing, dumping oil on the ground. So i DROVE it out of the bay and parked it overnight so i could work on it the next day. Put more oil in it and DROVE it back into the bay. Pulled the Trans a second time, changed the bolts with a little shorter ones and put sealed it again and let it sit for 24 hours. Put it all back together again and wallah. No more oil dumping on the ground. But now there's another issue.

So being that I pulled the Trans, I had to refill it with ATF (given). And each time I did, it was still able to move under its own power, granted it was dumping oil onnthe ground but it was able to get in and out of a shop bay on its own. Now that I got the transmission back in the truck and it's not dumping motor oil on the ground, the truck doesn't want to move under its own power anymore. I can change the gear on the PRND2L and the trucks rpm will change but nothing happens. It's like all the gears are neutral. Everything on the transmission and the transfer case is plugged in. I even disconnected everything and cleaned out the sensor connections and the pigtails on the harness incase some fluid got in there. Made sure the fluid was good. Put the truck in reverse and let it sit to let the torque converter fill up with fluid. Nada. Pulled the transmission out a 3rd time to make sure it was seated in the torque converter properly and it was. Pulled the speed sensors out to see if there was any debris on the ends of them and there wasn't but I still cleaned them up anyway. Nothing seems to be working. Trucks not throwing any engine codes or transmission codes.

    Some quick notes:
    • 4 wheel drive does engage
    • "O/D off" doesnt come on on the dash when i click the button on the gear selector
    • I disconnected the tranny cooler lines that go into the bottom of the radiator with the truck running to check if fluid would come out and no fluid whatsoever came out.
    • with the transmission out of the truck, I manually put the transmission into gear and spun the output shaft to see if the input shaft would move and it doesn't in either direction.
    • No shaft play in the transmissions input shaft in any direction (up, down, left, right, in, out)
    • no metal or little shiny things in the transmission fluid each time I drained it
    • transmission didn't make a noise when I started the truck. No clunk or grind or whine.

When I was doing the motor swap, I got some brand new parts (because I'm in there so why not).
    -torque converter
    -rear main seal
    -starter
    -knock sensors
    -fan clutch pully bracket
    -timing kit
    -water pump
    -serpentine belt and tensioner
I had the new torque converter in when it was dumping oil on the ground so I don't think it's that causing the issue because I was still able to drive the truck. I didn't drive it for long but it was still able to move under its own power.

Anybody have any idea what I could be missing or what could be causing this?

    Another note:
It seems like it's not pumping fluid because of the fact that when I disconnected the cooler lines, nothing came out even tho the level on the dipstick was spot on.

How’s your shift control cable? If broken you'll be able to move the shifter into any position, but the transmission will stay in the same gear.
Sometimes these cables will develop rust and seize up.

The cable is fine. I'm able to shift the transmission with the selector. I had my coworker verify that it's moving on the transmission when I change the gear in the truck. Also the truck is a southern Arizona truck. Has been it's whole life. No rust whatsoever because it doesn't snow down here lol

It moved under its own power until the third take apart and reassembly? How far did you drive it?

Here's your smoking gun. The question becomes, "Why is it not pumping fluid."

So May have never been working properly in the first place.

You’re positive the TC is keyed into the pump?

i wonder if pulling the trans in and out might have gotten a check ball stuck.

I think you were right. It's working now. I took some compressed air and shot it thru the tranny cooler lines to help fluid get circulated thru the system. I also got a hammer and tapped the Trans casing to try to loosen anything that was stuck and low and behold it's working now

Nevermind. It's still acting up. Was working fine earlier then I let sit for a couple hours to put the drive shafts and exhaust back in and it's back to not working.
