Hey all, as the title states I’m having an issue with my power folding mirrors. After shutting the truck off the interior power stays on for about 30 sec, I bumped the button to fold the mirrors just as everything timed out and shut off. Now my passenger mirror is stuck halfway closed, and the button does nothing.

Is there a way to reset the system or something? There is no sound from the motor, no clicks or nothing. Doesn’t sound like a gear is broken or anything like that. Mirror wasn’t bumped or twisted manually.

Driver side mirror hasn’t worked since I got it a few weeks ago and I’m wondering if the same thing happened. I checked the fuse, it’s is good. All other power features work...turn signal, auto tint, defrost...it’s just the power fold.

And now because it’s stuck halfway closed if I turn it out to it’s regular position manually, it flips around like a wet noodle.

Any thoughts or help? I’m new to the Tundra game, just stepped up from a 94 4Runner, all these fancy bells and whistles are making me scratch my head...

I am sure there is a way to reset, as the same the happened to my Silverado a few years back (pre Tundra days). Unfortunately i cant remember how i did it. I am sure it's in your owners manual, but i think i just googled it. Not much help I know, but it IS fixable, i know that fore sure.
