making the jump to 35s from 33.
    running KO 2 now.
quiet enough been good in the snow lite off roading.

i was looking at Falken wildpeak a/t 3w and KO2 again....
    but also wildpeak M/T...

will the M/t cause even more loss in MPG?
would the wildpeak A/T 3W be a bit easier on the mileage over the KO2.

anyone with some knowledge on this?
    or just a stupid question?

You will certainly lose some mileage going up to 35s, and the speedo and odometer will be a bit off.
I think the KO2s are heavier than the Wild peaks so probably slightly worse mileage but not a whole lot. The MTs will definitely be louder and get worse mileage, and will be worse in the snow, well the snowy roads, and most of do not drive in fresh deep powder.
Personally between these 3 tires I would go with the falken ATs. I have them on an old 2wd Chevy in stock size and they are great in all conditions I have driven in, with and without a very heavy load in the bed.

You will lose MPGs from 33s to 35s and assuming tire size 35x12.5x20...

    Respective weights for KO2, AT3w and M/T are 67lbs, 77lbs and 73lbs (can't believe the M/T is less weight).

If you're really worried about MPG, I would go with the KO2s but actually I would suggest tire size 285/65r20 -> cheaper ($13/tire less vs KO2s on Discount Tire Direct), same tire diameter, about an inch less width (less rolling resistance) but only 63lbs...even if that's only 1MPG difference vs the other tires, that's an extra $1200 you save over the life of the tires (assuming 12MPG with KO2s vs 11MPG with Falkens, 15k miles/yr and 5yr tire lifespan).

$345/tire on Discount Tire Direct and there's about to be a big independence day sale (up to 15% off).

My buddy has 35” KO2 on his and he says the best he ever sees is 12 mpg. It looks badass though. White double cab limited on bronze 17” Methods.
