Wondering if a trd sway bar work with a 1.5 inch shackle lift? Found one for a good price. The guy is selling because it won't work with the lift he's putiing on his truck.

I have a 7" lift and I still run the TRD sway bar. I had a welder cut the two end links and extend them with a longer and bigger tube to keep it at the stock angle. It works great and it's a simple fix. You would have to have the ends repainted or repowder coated after this is done.

$150.00 is a pretty good price isn't it? He said it's brand new, just got his truck and the dealer put it on by mistake.

The TRD sway bar usually goes for $220 plus. So I would snag it up if I were you.

Picked up the swaybar. Can't wait to get it on the truck. I'm thinking it should help with tire wear as well as handling.

It will definitely help with handling. I am not sure about tire wear though.

It helped mine with the wear on the outside edges of the front tires. Less body roll in the corners.

That's exactly what I thought, less roll should reduce the wear on the outside edge on the front. Someone over at 8th says that it can increase rear tire wear if you drive hard. What's he doing? Putting it in tow/haulass mode and flooring it coming out of corners and spinning the tires?

Yessir, that's the way to do it. Just got it installed and took it out for a hot lap. Wow, it corners like it's on rails. Guess I could wipe out the tires, if I drove like that all the time. Hmmm, speaking of, maybe the sequioa front bar should be on my list of future mods.
