TRD sway bars and 6-7 inch lift

Can I still use the TRD swaybars when I lift my truck 6-7 inch lift? I’d hate to lose that pretty undercarriage jewelry!

 

Sway bars defeat the whole purpose of the lift.... but I do think you will need longer control arms, the vertical pieces of the sway bar... (I believe that’s the correct verbiage

 

Yes but you may want to get longer linkage bars.

 

Do a search over in TT. Someone over there makes them.

 

The front sway bar will be fine. You’ll need to have the rear end links extended by Ekstrom, or rotate the sway bar mounts on the rear axle 90 degrees to the rear. This will raise the end links high enough to work. I did this to mine and works great.

 

Hellwig makes adjustable links for lifted trucks.
