So my truck goes in on Wednesday to get the supercharger installed. The shop who is installing it thought he could call magnuson and get the files cause he done that before. Now magnuson doesn’t do that anymore. We are now kinda pressed for time to get something together by next week. Other wise he doesn’t have any other openings for 9 weeks. He is ordering the bully dog and going to try that.
I want to do hp tuners but he doesn’t think he can get it shipped to him fast enough. I asked if I could drive it without the tune he said no. Do you guys have any info on what I should do so my truck will recognize that it has a supercharger on it?

Where you at? I have a vFtuner and if you're in the area, SoCal, I maybe able to flash your truck with the base SC tune. It'll cost you to buy credits so I can unlock the tune and access your ecu. I have a 2010 Crewmax 4x4, no SC. Base tunes are already available for use in vF tuner folder.

Or, you can go to the ov tune 3urfe ecu development thread here on this site and ask for assistance there. If anybody with vf tuner is close by, they can flash your ecu quickly.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for help!! I’m all the way up in Oregon. I’ve seen the ovtune post in here, and there’s a ton. I’ve never done any kind of tuning, I’m sure I could figure out the basics. Do you think the bully dog will work to get me out of the shop till I can figure something else out.

I’m just not sure the bully dog will even work cause my truck hasn’t been flashed to recognize the sc

Ok. Check the HP tuner forums also for TRD SC base tune. They have a repository there. Look for Viktor G. He has a lot of knowledge and info on sc'ed Tundras.
