Hi, I have a 2019 Tundra SR5 with TSS. I want to swap it out for the TRD Sport grille that Sparks Parts sells. However, I saw that I need to get a new sensor cover, but it looks exactly the same as the one I already have. Do I need the “redesigned sensor cover” or can I reuse the one on my grille?

There's two different part numbers. Check this thread for details and you should be able to figure out if yours will swap over of if you need the other one. They look the same on the outside but the mounting tabs are different.

You may have to pull your TSS module and look at the part number of the cover/lens/emblem and see if it matches up with the new grill you want. Worst case, you can find the correct one on Ebay or from another member here for about $100, sometimes less, then sell your old one and you're good.

You will need to purchase the other cover as the one on the truck now does not fit the new grille.
This happened to me after my purchase. I got one on e-bay for 100 bux.

When buying a new sport grill , Do you need the new emblem and sensor cover if you choose to use your own 2020 offroad grill and emblem?

If you're just buying the sport grill for the color matched surround, but want to keep your current insert and swap them over, then no, you don't need anything extra. Your insert and emblem will stay together when you swap them over. All inserts will fit all surround pieces... folks run into issues when using a different insert... sometimes, not always, the sensor cover they have won't fit the new insert. Hope that makes sense.
