I’m up to 170k and think it’s time to replace shocks. Has anyone had a good experience with any particular replacement set up? I wouldn’t want a downgrade but the stock replacement shocks seem out of step $ wise with some that look pretty similar.

He ^^^ apparently stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Give Colton, Mister Missoula, a shout for your suspension needs.

Does your '19 have the Bilsteins or Fox set up?

Your Fox TRD Pro shocks can be rebuilt.

    Y'all are too kind.
    This is also true ^^

@Bigrobdsp Your poor shocks have probably been smoked for 100k so any rebuild/replace will feel great! Is there anything that you want different from what your current shocks were able to provide when new? We have a ton of options if you want to replace. If you wanted to recoup some cost you could replace your current setup with something different, then rebuild/resell your current ones.

You can rebuild the Fox shocks. Alternatively, getting a Fox 2.5 would be a great option. You'll get more lift and travel plus the DSC adjusters are great as you can fine tune the shocks easily for your driving conditions. They're good for daily driving and off roading and are low maintenance. I personally don't like King's on a daily driven truck because they require rebuilding more often.

If you really want to upgrade, ADS makes some great shocks too. Very high quality.

Any idea what you could expect to pay to have them rebuilt?

I would plan for ~$1000 + shipping. If you're somewhere that has a local shop that can do it, the prices will likely come down a couple hundred bucks.

I had mine rebuilt at https://jtechmotorsport.com/

He's local for me, so I didn't have to ship. Parts and labor were $640 about 1.5 years ago. Price might be more now. He did a great job and could/would revalve them too, if I wanted.
    Less expensive than new, obviously.
But there are some really nice options available, for sure.
@memario1214 is the dude if you decide to buy new stuff.

Anyone know of a shop local to Dallas (preferably East Dallas) that could rebuild them? Also, how long is that process? Is it the type of thing that they can just have the truck there for a few days and I can pick it up with the shocks done?

Yes, some shops that offer shock rebuild service will have your truck for a day or 2. They'll pull em, rebuild em, and get you back on the road quickly. Others are just shock repair/rebuild facilities, so you'll have to pull them yourself or have a shop do them (this generally takes longer due to transfer time)...

As far as locations in TX, try reposting this question in one or both of these threads for a more local response..
