I recently installed a set of TRD Pro rear shocks on my 2016 1794 CM. I've changed rear shocks on many vehicles over the years and this work was very similar and pretty easy. Just to be safe, I also tried to follow the TRD instructions to the letter (although a few minor details couldn't be done as instructed).
Now, less than a week later, the red rubber boots on both shocks have fallen from the top mount and down over the shock body, not offering much if any protection. It seems the rubber molding surrounding the small metal washer in the boot must have slipped off some how.
Has anyone else seen this problem on their TRD Pro shocks? Did I install these boots wrong? (lower cupped support washer and rubber cushion sit on top of this boot.)
    Thanks for any feedback.
