Wondering if any knows the part number for the TRD Pro Light Bar switch that goes into the switch panel to the left of the console? Below the dome light switch?

Hey Ryan I looked for it in two threads last night and couldn't find it. I wonder if it was in Romans ultimate parts thread. I know I saw it somewhere.

Here is where I found the part number in the past.

OEM original TRD light bar switch

Item number 84163 on Switch& Relay&Computer parts drawing in Toyota data base.

I tried to open the drawing and it is now an empty box with a ? n the middle. Sorry guys they must have changed it or blocked access. Maybe your dealer can pull it up.

The item number was a reference number for the part on a drawing. When you expanded the drawing the corresponding part number and price was listed below the expanded drawing.

I don't see where your comment is much help. When looking through the drawings below the part, the switch we are all actually looking for is not there. Can you assist in narrowing down what the actual part number is for the TRD Pro Light Bar Switch?

Sure. Ryan and I were trying to remember where we saw the part number for the switch in a different thread. I then remembered seeing it on a parts drawing I had saved. When I tried to access the drawing set that showed the switch, it is no longer available to view. So I had my own notes telling me where to go if I wanted to find it in the future. That was the item number from the drawing we can no longer access. I offered the item number and name of where the drawing was in this conversation thinking a dealer may have access to the drawing that I can no linger view. Hope that makes sense. Maybe I’m trying to hard. ;)

Check out AOB switches. I picked one up for my eventual install of the DD light bar for heritage grille. I'm not affiliated or anything but half the price at $22

I bought this switch from the Toyota dealer. Part # PT45A-34220-AA. I think its from a TRD PRO. Notice the 6 mini pins in the switch. I think you would need a connector going to a relay controller of some sort. It must be in the wiring on a TRD PRO.
Anyone got any ideas on what to do here ?

The issue with the oem switch is the 6 micro pins in the switch. You can't just connect the wires from a LED light bar harness to this switch.

That’s why I haven’t bought anything. Different lighting of the switch would bug the crap outta me.

I believe the switch is a switch without the smarts (CAN-BUS) in the switch. But the TRD Light bar definitely has the smarts (CAN-BUS). So the switch could be use for other Light bars, just make sure to use a relay between them and of course fuses.

But for $25, there is not intelligence in the switch. It's all contacts and a light.

6 pins on a Toyota switch is usually
    2-switch illum
2-Normally open contacts(these would go to CAN bus unless you wire to external relay)
    2-LED indicator

Would you be willing to measure the switch itself (the part that slides into the switch bezel)....assuming you still have it out of the dash?

Were you able to get a hold of the switch? I only have 3 square switch spots, but need 4 so the horizontal OEM TRD light bar switch would be perfect for me.
