Has anyone driven an SR5 with and without the the TRD OR package? How much of a difference do the OR Bilstein shocks make in ride quality?

The standard/regular black shocks are marginal at best. Cushy, roll in corners, don't last as long as the other package shocks, usually needing replacement between 40-50k miles if they last that long.

The OR package shocks are better, best of the stock shocks other than the Pro suspension I think. But either the OR package or the sport shocks will be better than the black shocks. They control the truck much better than the black shocks and last longer, 60-80k miles. And once people start lifting their trucks, you will be able to find the OR shocks, low miles takeoffs, for cheap.

Thanks. I have found a set of takeoffs I am about to pull the trigger on. Benefits seem clear for the OR shocks vs black sr5.

I will have a set of OR shocks with Zero Miles other than the miles on the truck when it arrived at the store available in about 2 weeks.

I have one in line already. I will put you second in line. They should be available in about 2 weeks. The build will start this week and I am out of town next week. I am hoping to pick it up on Sat. 24th.
