    Hey everyone.

my 2021 tundra came with a rear TRD sway bar. My neighbor has a tundra and once he drove mine, he immediately had one installed.

I know they come standard with a front sway bar. I was looking at upgrading it to the TRD front sway bar.

anyone had one installed and can tell me how it handles after it was upgraded?

I have done the Sequoia and then the TRD front sway bars. It’s an easy swap and I’d recommend the TRD sway bar. If memory serves, the TRD front bar is about 20% stiffer than stock.

As for how it feels, to me the TRD front sway bar makes the steering wheel input feel a little heavier. I like it and would do it again.

I don't do a bunch of extreme off-roading and in general I prefer less body roll...I cant stand vehicles that feel as if they are wallowing side to side when making turns under normal driving conditions.

Oh yeah, upgrading the front sway bar won’t provide as significant of a change as adding the rear, like you wont “feel” it as much. In the rear scenario, there was no sway bar, so adding one will be more noticeable.

Upgrade the front. It's not as dramatic as the rear but its enough to notice and its complimented and enhanced by having the rear. You wont regret it.

Because they already come with a front swaybar, upgrading it is not going to make much of a difference. If you dont have any more upgrades on your wishlist, by all means do it.

It’s heavier than stock so it’s a bit noticeable. As said the back has none, that’s much more noticeable for reduced body roll. People who want articulation take them off altogether.

I did the front TRD not long after I did the rear, it does make the handling feel more balanced. My truck spends 99.8% of the time on pavement, plowed is still sorta paved right?
Install was really straight forward and only PITA was my TRD skid.

I appreciate your info! Yea I think I’m gonna get it but I’m going to do it at the Toyota dealership because I need them to install my skid plate to block catalytic converter theft. Figure they’re taking the TRD skid plate off anyways.
