Bought a tundra with the trd cai. Have been reading up on the recharging the filter, so opened it up for the first time and no oiled filter but a new napa paper filter? Question: continue with paper or purchase a TRD oiled one? Thoughts?

Paper. Keep Map sensor in good shape without oil in the vicinity.

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
Get a TRD oiled filter and enjoy having the complete system. If not, then what's the point of having the system? I put a TRD one in my stock system and have 0 regrets.

Afe also makes a dry option that a lot of people use. That’s what I’m running in my trd cai
