TRD 3” Lift and Warranty Question

I’m shopping for a MC 6.5 TRD Off Road and have found some without the 3” lift and have a question about it. I’m no stranger to installing a lift in my garage/driveway and it doesn’t bother me to do it again. I hate paying labor for work I can do at home.

How does the 3/36 warranty apply to the TRD 3” lift kit if purchased from the dealer and self installed? Does the warranty only apply if installed by dealer?

So the 3/36 warranty only applies if it was installed by factory or installed by the dealer at the time of sale of the vehicle. If you purchase the lift and install yourself you will only get a 12mo/12,000 mile warranty. The same applies if it's installed anytime after the sale, even if the dealer installs it.
