So I got in the truck this morning and started and got about 50 feet and the check engine light, VSC off light and the traction control light came on. I drive a couple miles and I noticed that its lacking power and the transmission feels weird. I stop at the gas station to fill her up and While I'm doing that I unhook my negative cable to hopefully clear any codes to make it to work and it worked. No lights the entire drive to work which is about 60 miles.

    Any Ideas?

    AIP maybe?

My transmission wouldn't "kick down", even with heavy use of gas pedal when the AIP failed. It definitely felt weird, almost CVT-like

Ill test the battery and get a code. I saw something that said it could be the gas cap.

    Not nearly enough room here!
People these days "don't have time" to turn their vehicles off (or headlights) while fueling-up, sometimes that's all it takes to throw a code. Being as hard hearing as I am, I've tripped the same codes by not getting the gas cap tight enough.
