I love my new 2021 TRD PRO but….at low speeds (under 30 MPH) the transmission takes longer to switch gears than I’m accustomed to. It makes a bit of a whiney noise like it’s in the wrong gear or something.

    The dreaded shift hang!
I believe it can only resolved with a tune that addresses the shift points

Is “shift hang” normal for the 2021 TRD PRO or any trim level that year?

My 2021 limited does that sometimes while going down a steep hill around 30-40 mph while breaking. Don't hear any gearing noise. The RPMs rises for a few seconds and then goes back to normal.

    Too many, but not enough....
Pretty sure this is normal and done from a safety mindset. Then again, I am used to manual trannys so you get it in neutral and it just goes faster and faster.

My 2019 does this, it is normal.
