I found the following video about doing a complete transmission fluid change on a 2nd gen Tundra. In the video, he states that it probably applies to 3rd gen Tundras as well, so I was thinking about following this process on my 2017 Tundra and using a ScanGuage II instead of dealing with the jumpered pin nonsense. Anybody see any reason why this wouldn't work for a 3rd gen?

I used to do almost the exact same thing on my 2001 Tundra. I guess I'd just never seen that particular hose in the front being used to pump out the fluid on 2nd/3rd gen Tundras. A lot of the time I see folks using one of the hoses coming out of the puck on the side of the transmission. My vehicle only has 36K miles on it, but I hope to flush the tranny every 40K miles.

    Thanks,

    Dave
