    Hello

I have a 2021 Sequoia (3UR-FE) and it's got the same transmission as some Tundras.

I also have a large jug of Mercon LV left over from working on my wife's old Ford Flex.

The Mercon says on the bottle it works for Toyotas. Are there any good reasons I shouldn't use it? I'll get some fluid from Toyota when it's time to flush it, but in case it needs a top-up at the next oil change: I'd like to use the jug i already have.

    Thanks in advance.

As long as it calls for WS, topping off with LV won’t hurt anything. They’re similar enough.
