Transmission Filler Port ?

    I just got done with my transmission service. As I was tightening the filler bolt (at the tight driver side), it came to me that could a port be created from this opening and have a 3/8 tube and something extended and access at the top of the engine bay. That way, you can drain and fill like how we do with engine oil. Is this a great idea or someone already gone and done it?

    No, nothing wrong. lol
    I figured with a port, I don't have to worry about getting into that tight space just to remove the filler bolt.
