Trans fluid level help

    I did a trans fluid drain and fill after adjusting the levels because i thought it was too full. 3.5 qts +/- came out. i added 3 qts and this is where the dipstick was at after driving 30+ miles. mostly on a highway. How much should i add with it being at this level. i can’t seem to get the level right.

    I spy a hot air intake...

    Level should be between the upper set of marks if it's hot. Should check while running. I usually check while in neutral but I think you can also check in park.

    This^^^, on both counts. You probably need about 3/4 of quart more.
