Almost done doing successive drain& fills to change the trans fluid on my 07 SR5 w/4.7L. One more to go in a few days. On refills, I used a long hose snaked down/back to the fill port and the other end in the engine bay, and today I used a drill pump to replace the fluid. Prefer the long hose & gravity method over the drill pump...which overall is messier for me. Hose & gravity required less cleanup. Maybe my drill pumping will improve over time.

With the 4.7L engine/trans combo the fill port is well back of the engine bay. Can't get a straight shot down to the fill port with the hose...but you figure it out.

After 2 drain/fills the truck is shifting better/tighter. 1 more to go in a couple of days. Old fluid didn't look too bad, just whipped!
