Trading 02” Tundra for 97” 4Runner ?

Hello brothers and sister ,

I have currently a 2002 4.7 Tundra 2wd with 440,000 miles and a nice guy wants to trade me his 97” 3.4 V6 4Runner 2wd with 210,000 miles.

His is a clean title, minor dings and scratches, sun roof , no rust , drives excellent but slow on take off , fuel economy is better but overall stock suspension.

The tundra is salvage title due to rear end accident nothing major, doesn’t pass smog cuz it’s straight piped, but has clapped out ish suspension.
JBA Upper Control Arms
2.5” Rough Country Struts
33” BF Good Rich Tires
2” Block in the rear

(I know not too fancy but I don’t got off-roading that much either)

I’m looking for any thoughts or considerations , OH YEAH and I recently just purchased a 2005 Tundra with 137k miles on stock suspension so I don’t need the 02” tundra anymore.

Is it worth the trade ?

 

I enjoyed my '97 4runner.

 

I'd do it in the blink of an eye but everyone's situation is different.
