Found a guy who wants to trade his Sig P320 AXG for my Kimber Rapide. He's throwing in some extras:



Under 6 mos old, has all receipts.

Well if your not fully happy with the Kimber go for it.

 

Simple answer: Nay!!

If that was a P320 AXG 'Legion', which is/was Italian Made, it would be an absolute no brainer... I say take it and run... extremely accurate and well built striker fired pistol The Legion's MSRP sits at about $1,500 and would be the equivalent of purchasing a built 'standard' P320 AXG...

In the P320 AXG line up, the Legion sits at the top of the food chain above the Pro and Equinox (which both sit above the model being offered to you in the trade)...

The one he's offering isn't a bad weapon, but it's literally half the gun... It's American made, lacks some of the upgrades and tolerances that the Legion has and iirc its MSRP is around $750...

If you really like the idea of the P320, I'd look to source a Legion and continue to try and sell yours outright... The Legions can be sourced new for about $1,400 currently...

Another option is to see if you can purchase through an authorized LEO/Military dealer for their special DSG pricing...

Buds does the same; they call it Qualified Professional. The AXG is $820 under that program.

As mentioned, if it was a Legion, maybe. Keep the Rapide...

I like using them, but turn around on shipping and such is really hit or miss sometimes w/them...

The DSG program through Sig is actually a lot like the Glock Blue Label program, where the company is setting pricing, policies and such... but the difference is that w/Glock Blue Label you can actually purchase through Glock and get true Blue Label pricing when you can't find a local 'Blue Label' dealer actually honoring the pricing set by Glock. The Sig program you MUST purchase through an authorized DSG dealer, and they 'should' honor structured pricing by Sig; but most don't or say the products are currently available. Sig DSG is also very limited in what models and such it includes w/the program.

If so, and it's really burning a hole in your pocket (or just taking up space in the safe), I'd be happy to trade it for a not so gently used, but still shoots great, OG Glock 26
