Your trade in value is LOW and the sale price of the new one is HIGH .

I'd negotiate the sale of the new one for about 37.5 (easy to achieve ) and the trade in for 33.5 (doable ). so the difference is about 4k...with these numbers you will have about 7k equity . ...finance the whole amount of the new truck and ask them to cut you a check for your equity and use that fund for lift, wheels, tires retrofit , and other mods. you will be a much happier man. good luck .

If you finance 39,828 @3.9% for 72 months then your monthly payment is about $621.

Most lenders will do 84 months, this will help get the payments down plus you can always make additional payments to the principal only and refinance in about 2 years time.

They will also add extended warranty and gap on top of the quote when you go thru finance.

I'd recommend seeing what Truecar.com has as a price. It's free and any local dealers that have the truck you want in stock will contact you. There is no obligation to buy either.

Noticed that the sales tax is estimated at $3500+. This doesn't look correct. I always thought that you only paid sales tax on the difference between the sale price and your trade in value. So you should only have to pay the sales tax on the $9000 ish. This should help lower everything along with suggestions of others above.

Hi @gdiep. Sales tax in CA is on the full price paid. They don't take into consideration your trade in like some other friendlier states. Another example why it's so expensive to live here.

..So, they traded yours in for about $33000 (which they cut you a check after paid off your current balance) and you finance the whole amount of the new truck (about $39000) for 1.2% for 84 months. I'd say it's a damn good deal. The monthly payment is close to my number at $495/month.

Now you have money for mods....

We can only say whether the deal is good or not if you can give us the Final numbers .

Also, the Best deal is the deal you're happy with.

...not too good. Toyota give us (the buyer) $1000 rebate on any '17 CM Tundra so make sure you get that.

My local dealer here takes $5000 off any '16 Tundras and $4000 off any '17 Tundras in stock (NO need to negotiate). One condition is that you HAVE to finance with them, usually with 4-5% APR but you can pay that off (or refinance) the moment you receive the first statement.

They have a new '17 TRD PRO in Barce Red and I doubt that they will take $4000 off. I'll know for sure tomorrow.....
