I have a 2014 tundra. 250,000 miles. The last few months my traction control light comes on. I have no power when it does. It does it so randomly that mechanics can’t make it so it so they can’t diagnose the problem. Wiring looks ok on sensors. Can’t see anything physically wrong. Any ideas what it might be?

How are your shocks and tires? When the tires on my Lexus get a little more worn my traction control light goes off a lot and kills engine power.

Tires and shocks are new. May pull wheels off and make sure everything looks good as far as brakes and shocks go. Thanks for advising.

I had a similar issue with my 01 Sequoia that was related to the yaw rate sensor. Unfortunately I don’t recall how it was detected.
Hopefully I’m not sending you down a bad path. My issue only presented in the heat, never in the winter.

When my ABS module went out, the BRAKE, VSC and ABS light went on. It often is intermittent and then eventually fully goes out, if it is the module. You can pull the module off the pump and either test and resolder the connections yourself or send it to a shop for ~100-150 to repair. There are shops on eBay that specialize in the repairs.

However, since only his traction control is going off, I'm thinking it might be wheel speed sensor related or maybe the yaw rate sensor like the previous poster mentioned. I'd start checking the wiring.
