does anyboday know the cause of this? One day I turned on truck and drive out of gas station then I felt the traction control kick on and made my truck drive slow so I turned off then same happened again. After that truck started and turned off took two more tries then I started driving and all those lights came. 4 wheel won’t engage unless I turn truck on first then put into 4hi/lo. Also when I’m first driving before the 4hi/lo lights come on the speedometer doesn’t register correct speed. Only after lights for 4 hi/lo start flashing on and off. I have 2011 4.6 Texas Editon. Please help

    Hi,
I had the same issue last month and I found the cause.
It's the electrical harness connection at the abs module.
Make sure you have some automotive electrical contact cleaner and some compressed air on hand.

    1)Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2)Remove cover and lift upwards on the abs module connector lock and remove it from the module.
It takes a bit of wiggling but you can get it off.
3)Blow out both the connector and module pins with the compressed air.
4)Spray the connector and pins with the electrical contact cleaner.
5)After about 2-3 minutes, blow dry with the compressed air.
6)Reinstall the connector and replace the cover.
    7)Reconnect the battery.
You will have to drive for about a day or two for the engine computer to relearn and bring things like the idle back to normal.
    Hope this helps!!

4hi and 4lo flashing with traction and ABS lights on means transfer case shift failure

Had similar issue on 2012 Tundra 4x4 with 200K miles. Ran my scanner with ABS code abilities on the vehicle (Innova 5610) and it said Left Rear wheel sensor bad. Funny thing is the live data showed the sensor was correctly reading wheel speed. Did not detect any wiring damage so I replaced the sensor for about $30. Problem solved.
