Yes that is correct. It will display something along the lines of this..
    LR LF RF RR
    32 32 32 21

I looked for a picture but couldn't find one. As stated, only some models have that. But that was 2015. I would bet all the new ones have that feature.

How does the truck know which tire is where? Does that have to be programmed?

Yes its programmed but I believe there is a sensor on the vehicle that talks to the closest one. Because of tire rotations. dont quote me on that but I'm thinking that's how it works.

Nevermind I should have watch the video you posted they even explain how to set them after a rotation. My truck is an 08. Its generic the way I know my tires are low a light just comes one then I check all of them.

I didn't think that feature came out on the Tundra till the mild refresh of the 2018 models, where they updated the gage cluster and info screen, among other tech that was added for 2018.
I would have swore that feature was missing from my 2017 Platinum.

Yea just like the camry. My wife's 2018 does this but not my sister's 2017. Humm. Strange.

That is another one of those all be it minor features, that I really do like that is on my 2020 Platinum, that wasn't on my 2017 Platinum.
It is not one of those features you typically would use everyday, but when that light goes off and you have nothing indicating which tire it is how low it is, it one of those features when you don't have it, you start swearing at the truck when you have to pull over and go around and check all 4 tires to figure out if it is something serious or just a something minor like an ambient temperature drop that effects your tire pressure a few pounds which can tent to trip your warning lights in the winter.
Toyota has had that feature or tech for years, my 2008 Land Cruiser had it as well as other things like smart key(push button start) all things that other Toyota models didn't start getting till recent years. My 2020 Platinum is the first year for the push button start.

I had a problem with my left rear tire getting low and I just kept adding air. Finally I took it in and they found a nail in the sidewall. How do you pickup a nail in the sidewall? Anyway, the TPMS kept my updated on my tire pressure.
