I have a 2016 Crewmax that I installed a complete Toytec Boss 2.0 kit back in 2018. I have roughly 25,000 miles on the install and the rear driver shock has failed. There is fluid spray and the boot on the shock is full of fluid. Are these rebuiladable?

I noticed that Toytec has come out with the Aluma series to replace the current shocks I have but are on backorder. If this was your truck would you replace with shock with something cheap to get by or go a different direction? I've been very interested in Old Man Emu since day one but wasn't ready to pull the trigger on $3900.

I have falcon shocks on the way but don't have any personal experiences with them. There are quite a few people who do though and they seem to like them quite a bit. There's a couple threads on here with really good info on them.

I would call toytec and see if they can get you a replacement. They may have some or could offer an alternative. And I would expect they may have some kind of warranty on the kit you purchased.

I'm still waiting on a reply back from Toytec. I sent them all the information they requested and trying to patiently wait.

Had some good news. Finally called Toytec on Wednesday and they said they would warranty the shock and that I would have a confirmation email that night, with a tracking number the next day. I didn't receive either, no reply back to my email Thursday, and no call back Friday. Hope to hear more next week.

The aluma series are out of stock. Toytec sent me Eibachs until the aluma series are back in stock. Just put them on this morning. Response was slow but they are standing by their product!
