Toytec Aluma install question

Installing these bad boys on my 2020 tundra. The coil over came with these steel washers along with the bolts that’s already have washers type heads on them. Any idea what these are for?

I believe they still go under the bolt heads. Let me go look at mine.

 

Those are called flange bolts and sometimes washers are used to increase the surface area of the clamping force.

 

Yes, mine has the washers installed under the heads.

Last question…hopefully. does 173ft lbs sound right for the UCA torque? Installing SPC’s as well. Not sure how I’m even going to get a torque wrench in there but figured I’d check

First side done. Toytec aluma coilovers with SPC upper control arms. Almost done with the drivers side. Can’t thank you guys enough. Would probably never be able to do these types of things without the support of this site.

I love them. Probably about 15k miles in and still a ton of life. Easy to balance and minimal noise. Good in the snow too.

 

Okay one more small issue. Drivers side UCA bolt. How do I get this clip off from around this group of wires in order to sneak the bolt by? The passenger side had slightly different clips.

 

If i recall its attached to that bracket. See that silver bracket just below it? Go from the bottom and unbolt it from the frame. That will allow you to move it enough to get the bolt out.
