Toyota tops GM to become Americas top selling automaker in 2021.

 

Surprised it wasnt a few years ago. IMO GM has been putting out mostly garbage for several years. More than likely it was their legacy fleet truck and rental car sales that kept them going with that title.

 

Yeah, not because of their truck sales tho sadly

 

Just see a few commercial for 0% for GM , they just lost one of there big parts supplier , I just rotated one of my trucks was a GMC 3500 SRW Denali , If Toyota would have a 1 ton truck I would own them .
Every one with GM products I know have problems , even my 2019 GMC I just rated on a 2022 4 runner Pro right from the day I bought it had all kinds of little stupid problems , clips moldings , DEF problems .
With the insane used prices I paid 66k new 3 yrs ago and used the crap out of the truck , still low miles I got 78k trade value plus the tax credit for buy another vehicle no tax .
I would not buy another GM product , had a buddy with a 2020 just a 1500 he leased for 2 yrs was back to the dealer over 20 times for all kinds of broken stuff .
Say no to GM

 

Unfortunately, GM is no worse than Ford or Dodge these days.

I have been Toyota and Corvette for years. I would not buy a Chevy truck. As far as all my corvettes I have been very happy with them. My 19 C7 Z06 is a beast.

 

That's funny because I was thinking their trucks are the only GM products I would buy (though I wouldn't say no to a Camaro or Corvette if I could afford one).

 

My brother bought a Z71 Trail Boss 2 years ago because he said “Tundras were too plain” and now he’s regretting it. Its been in the shop like 5 times while my ‘14 just keeps on humming
