have been looking for a solution to install my new Scheel Mann seats in my 1st Gen tundra .
has anyone tried to use the seller on EBay. He sells real good ones for Merc/BMW/Audi/Mazda
that are made by HDK in Poland or CYGNETIC and cost around $45-65 dollars and like the ones Metal Tech sold they plug in to the wiring harness-Easy. However , the ones they sell for Toyota models consist of a Resistor and two pieces if wire and two clamps that attach to the air bag wiring ,They cost around $10.00 Has anyone ever had any experience with these ?? Have tried to buy Metal Tech ones (even used) on open market with no success (although they would be like gold but worth it.) Thanks

Not yet.I am still looking though. Saw one on EBay but reviews said it did not work and also were sent different item than it should. Sent from Germany so not worth sending back.

Best bet is probably to just wire a resistor in between the two airbag sensor wires. Maybe start with a 1 Ohm, then try a 2 Ohm (just guessing).
