so does anyone have any idea if the oem Toyota led headlights are considered a wear item or are they a component item that falls under the standard warranty replacement (or the platinum extended warranty)?

since we are no longer dealing with a physical bulb that you can replace yourself.

only thing I can find is that under VSA platinum additional exclusions section lists :

"Lamps, Light Assemblies/Housings, and Light Bulbs"

Good questions. I don't know how Toyota handles the LED light assemblies, on my last F-150 they were covered under the 3/36 warranty. Under the extended warranty there was an extra charge for those lights.
