My name is Micheal. My wife and I are new Toyota owners. I have a 2020 cement gray Tundra Limited Creewmax qqand she has a 2020 white 4Runner TRDpro. Previously I was strictly Chevy/GMC with trucks and built Jeeps for rock crawling. My wife isn't brand loyal and just liked top notch features at a reasonble cost. Once we had the money she wanted one of her two dream vehicles, the 4Runner. I wanted a diesel truck at first but what we have to haul would be overkill. So looking at domestic half tons I realized they came with half tons the issues. I've always liked the Tundra(except gen 1) They can get the mileage of a diesel and are built right. Besides minor issues amongst the different years, it's nothing compared to GMC/Chevy, Ford, and Dodge. The biggest hurdle is not having experience with working on these. Nor knowing whats wrong from a few minor indicators. So working on these means I'll be here often.

Besides my truck being a 2020 cement gray Tundra Limited, it has upgrades from the previous owner. I bought preowned due to financial intelligence. It had 44k miles on it and still under factory warranty. When I went to check one tundra out and didn't like it, they showed me one they just got in. I payed around 45k for it but the upgrades were worth it.
    Upgrades:
    >King 2.5 RR EXT Travel Front & Rear w/ Adjusters & Upper Control Arms Package - For 07-21 Tundra
    >36" tires on method race rims.
    > after market led headlights and tail lights
    > all cabin lights, tailbed lights, and floor board lights were changed to light blue LED.
    >Leather seats (heated). Basically all the bells and whistles. Besides the suspension upgrade from toyota it had all the features of a 2020 TRDpro version.
    > The fogs were swapped with yellow ones.
    > I recently increased the tint to be darker.

    My prioty upgrades are:
    >k&N Cold air intake
    >Flowmaster 44 muffler
    >New nitto tires
    >Thiinking about chipping it but havent done enough research
    >Bed cover
    >over the wheel well storage
    >and eventually full chrome delete. Starting with an off road bumber and grill.
Here are Pics from it at the dealer and the next day taking it hom 20241224_131404.jpg e. 20241224_131404.jpg 20241223_175207.jpg 20241223_175217.jpg

Welcome! That's a sharp lookin truck! You'll probably get some comments on the choice for the cold air intake and the flowmaster muffler. They aren't well liked around here lol. Stock air box with a drop in filter works really well. Or other intake kits with their own boxes do well too. Most "cold air intakes" with open filters sound awesome and can produce gains until they inevitably get heat soaked in the engine bay. For the exhaust, many will recommend one or two certain brands of exhaust over all others. I'll let others chime in as I have no experience with them and don't wanna recommend something I haven't used.

There's plenty of threads on here regarding both topics. Search up. Read up. And choose what you like best

NICE!!! Welcome from TN!! Nice truck!! Lots of good info. and good people here. If you haven't already, poke around a bit. I started a thread in general discussion on reloading and general gun talk if that's your thing but if not you're welcome anyway. To each his own.
Currently I'm shopping tires and am pretty sure I'm going with Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Had them when I bought the truck and really liked them so.....
Also looking at doing the under rear seat storage mod.
I also am deleting the chrome and installed a black hood bulge from Amazon. 20250507_153833.jpg
