Hi all, new to the forum from Ohio and looking to purchase my first Tundra. My question is should I buy a Tundra now or wait until the 19's hit the lot for a better discount. Right now Toyota is offering $2,000 cash back on a Tundra; was wondering if anyone has seen a better cashback offer over the years or was able to get better on a 17 when the 18's were released.

    Thanks.

they run that $2k off pretty regularly it seems like. easier to negotiate from their Actual invoice than down from MSRP.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking at a 2018 CM 5.7 4x4 convenience package and TRD offroad package. Using Costco for my build invoice coming in at around $41,500 ($45,500MRSP) with the $2,000 off $39,500 is the offer from the dealership. That is the best I have been able to find around so far; been looking for a few months.

Sounds like a solid deal! What state are you in?

    Welcome from Texas :)

What made you want the TRD OR? I'm just curious :)

Thanks Danimal; seems like a legit deal. Like I said in the original post just was not sure if Toyota ever goes beyond the $2,000 cash back or if that is the best I can plan on seeing.

Thanks Hectic...1) badass 2) I do a decent amount of whitetail hunting in the hills of Ohio; lot of gravel and dirt roads. Probably not a need as much as a want.

    Sure thing!
Whats the added cost for the TRD OR over the SR5? Would it be worth it to buy the SR5, swap tires and shocks for better than TRD OR?

I got like 2500 off the 4k package on my truck (running boards, upgraded wheels and tires, all weather floor mats, black badges). Kinda wish I just went with the base SR5 and added that stuff after market. cruising around this site I can see myself swapping these parts out in the future for ones I like better... but then again my wife probably would have killed me for spending all that money - this way I can ride it "stockish" for longer since it's already got the parts on it that look decent.

If it makes you happy go for it, just thought I'd through that out there. I know there's an advantage to having it all done for you already and being able to tie it up into the truck loan.

If you are paying cash then the $2k is legit. They won't combine it with the 0.9%. I never like to do it, But I kept my cash and took the 0.9%. The way things are looking I think I'd rather have the cash. I can pay it off whenever I want.

I paid around 43800 for my 18 CrewMax 4x4 Limited. MSRP on sticker was 50489.

    I’m also in Ohio.
