I just recently got my 2011 Double Cab Rock Warrior. I've read that all 5.7s came with the towing package. But, I also read that's not true. Which I believe the latter is true. I've looked trough my owners manual and couldn't find much info. My Tundra has the hitch receiver, 7-pin and 4-pin connectors and I beleive it has a trans cooler. It doesn't have a brake controller. What does the towing package include? I'm wondering if mine does have the towing package. If not, I want to get a small camping trailer, hopefully next year and besides a brake controller, which I want o get the P3 controller, anything else I need to do? With the 7-pin connector can the truck charge a dual battery setup on the trailer?

You have the tow package. All you need it the brake controller and you are good to go. The 7 pin connector will charge as you are driving.

My sister-in-law bought their 2010 new (base model) and added the xsp and tow package (which they never used) which added the trans cooler, hitch with both plug-ins for trailers, it came with the brake controller connection in the glove box in case it was needed. I just bought it from them in Dec.2024 after my work truck was totaled and they only had 16'000 miles on it.
