Ok here is the deal. I live full time in my RV (yea I love it) but the current RV I have is a 5th wheel, getting old, and too heavy for the Tundra. So I've decided to but a newer RV.

This one is still over the max weight for my Tundra, however, I'm going to try to justify the tow because I'm going to move it once at about 20 mile range while I'm building up some property which means I'll move it again in about 2 years for about 30 miles which will be the final resting place. I'm not a traveler so I won't be dragging this thing around. If I do decide to travel somewhere I'll get a tiny one to pull but I don't see that in my future.

So the question is can I get away without any damage to my truck to gently move this RV these two times? Here are the numbers:

What about that trailer makes you say it's going to put your truck overweight? Can't see a tongue weight on the crackled trailer label, and you don't have your payload sticker shown. Nothing there screams that you'll be over capacity so long as the trailer is empty/dry and you're the only one in the truck.

Very nice that gives me confidence that I'm not going to screw anything up. My truck normally only carries me and the fuel that it is quickly sipping on so I just need to move the RV very few times.

Remember when a tundra towed the space shuttle? I think you'll be alright, haha! Been a lot of discussion on here with guys who tow over regularly.

I think a lot that goes behind the tow rating has to do with braking, I'm sure it can easily tow it
Stopping it quickly at highway speeds might be another story. For what you're talking about I dont think it will be much of an issue.
