My wife's shitty Ford Flex finally bit the dust, interesting that it happened just as she was pulling up to the house.

I'm going to scrap it, and I started thinking about using my Sequoia to tow it to the scrap yard - I'd probably get double the money if I don't need to have it towed from my driveway.

Using a tow rope is probably too reckless even for me. I'd need to of me - one towing and one in the car being towed to risk something like that.

So I thought maybe I can get a dolly, one of those things that connect to the hitch and the towed car has its front wheels resting on it.

Has anyone here tried that? I know they cost a lot new, but maybe I can get a used one just for this tow and then resell it.

It’s $45 to rent one from U-haul in Concord, according to their website.
