    @RainMan_PNW I purchased non power folding tow mirrors from topgearautosport.com. I watched the YouTube video from Boost on how to install them. In the video they say the boost mirror has a white and blue wire. My mirrors came with a white and grey wire. I connected everything according to the video just connected the grey wire where they connected the blue. My issue is that now my BSM and RCTA are malfunctioning. I’ve read a few threads on here but so far nothing has worked. I didn’t turn the BSMor RCTA off before I started. Please help!

    First question:
    The mirrors you bought have the BSM function in them (LED in the glass)?

    You can turn off your BSM and RCTA via the instrument cluster menu under vehicle settings so that it's not giving you errors while you sort it out.

    Never assume that the mirrors from one manufacturer are going to match the wiring setup of another manufacturer. I've not looked at the top gear ones (it looks like they've got a pile of different options) but Boost specifically asks questions about what configuration your truck has to start with. Platinum/1794 trucks 2014 and newer have the BSM wiring in a different location in the connector than the 2014+ trucks that do not come with power fold from the factory, so those questions are important/pertinent. And the Boost mirrors should come with either 1 or 3 "external" wires (not routed to the OEM connector) if I recall correctly - 1 wire (white) for the "reverse" light (because the Boost mirrors use the common ground in the mirror for the reverse light ground), and then a blue and yellow wire if you get power fold (unless you configure it claiming that your truck already has power fold, then those wires are routed to the OEM connector). At least that is how mine were configured (I had a single white wire for the reverse light circuit).

    Perhaps the Top Gear mirrors are using dedicated ground for the reverse lights and that is why they have two wires separate from the factory connector...that would be a question for them or should be in their instructions (if they provide any). Either way, that should not impact the BSM/RCTA system at all (unless they are doing something fucky with the ground in their mirrors).

    If you pull apart your driver's side door sail panel (possibly requires you to pull the full door panel) and unplug the connector going into your mirror, you should have these wires entering the connector (this view is looking at the FRONT of the connector, not where the wires enter it from the back).

    If you have more wires than this going into the connector, that shouldn't be an issue. If you don't have all of these wires, then something is wrong with the wiring in your door.

    Once you confirm all of these wires are present at the connector, you need to then look at the connector on your tow mirror and make sure there is a pin in each spot that corresponds with all of these wires. Of particular interest for your BSM is pin 18 - that is the positive power for the LED on the BSM, and if your truck cannot see a complete circuit on the BSM LED when it starts up (with BSM turned on), you'll get errors about your BSM and RCTA system. Note that some diagrams show Pin 18 on the driver's side mirror connector is a Violet wire, but most I've seen are black (a good reason to never blindly follow wire colors without verifying pin location and function).

    Next, you need to confirm the same for the connector at the passenger side mirror. This is the connector pin-out for that.

    If you're not familiar with Toyota color naming:
    P = Pink
    W-B = White w/ Black stripe
    L = Blue
    SB = Sky Blue
    BE = Beige
    B = Black
    GR = Gray
    V = Violet
    G = Green
    BR = Brown
    W = White
    LG = Light Green
    Y = Yellow
    R = Red
    L-R = Blue w/ Red strip
