Hey I’m new to the forum world but I figured I would give it a shot. I have a 2018 SR5 crewmx. I’m looking at getting some tow mirrors. I found some I like but I have some concerns about fittment. Has anyone used one of these or have information on them? 78BC4F9D-8612-4432-871B-F203BA8F8317.jpgEA666D4C-A665-41BF-91B1-ED8DE75A7274.jpg

Those look more like Duramax mirrors that tundra mirrors. I’d just go OEM and they’d be cheaper than the ones you’re looking at

For that price why not go with OEM? A lot of ppl say aftermarket have problem with vibration at higher speeds

They remind me of super duty mirrors but I found them on those websites under the tundra section and looked up YouTube videos of them being installed on older model tundras but the top gear ones listed a measurement that has me concerned.

What OEM mirrors are you referring to?

I messaged Roman early about the same mirrors to see if he’s ever heard of them.

TRD PRO grille, OCD consol organizers, DIY wireless phone charger, 33" Michelin Defender LTX MS, Bak revolver X2 tonneau, weathertech liners, 20% tints. DIY pop n lock, 2018 LED headlights, morimoto fogs, TRD shift knob, DirtyDeeds 8"BAM exhaust, kenwood HU,JL amp, Tech12volts Tundra full speaker upgrade w/sub, Swing case, and lots of fluid film
These are the only ones I've seen with all the options including power fold and BSM. I say go for it.

So I just got the $500 ones and installed them. They worked like they were supposed to. They weren’t wiggling or lose like expected. The only problem with them was the passenger side folding motor wasn’t clocked correctly and didn’t match the driver side. So I removed them and going to send them back and get the OEM ones.

I have this style mirror and rest assured they fit perfectly, they are actually a much more functional tow mirror in my opinion and I’ve had both sets!7321EB85-2FB4-4CD1-9946-C00B7FFEA8E2.jpg

You can get those gm mirros cheaper on ebay. There's a bunch of posts on a fb group about them. Seems to be taking over from the stock tow mirrors. There's also a website boost auto that sells them with videos and upgrades for the mirrors too

Look at this on eBay https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/273468121513

Can you confirm if these have BSM and Power-fold? I read their description and doesn't seem clear that these are the same as OP's. I've been searching and searching for the right tow mirrors and when I thought I found some, they recalled them.

1A is junk, get oem. Trailridge=1A, sold on their site, Ebay, Amazon. If you like spending on a part that will fail go for it.

Some many upgrades I want to do! Saving my pennies for TRD Pro grille/ bulge. Tow mirrors are next on the list.
