Tow mirror installation question

I got these tow mirrors on Amazon and this is the schematics for it. I know I have to fuse tap the “2p out plug”. “The white plug” is plug and play and has all of the extra features on it that my tundra doesn’t have such as running lights and turn signal. My question is will those features still be plug and play even if my tundra doesn’t have those features? The YouTube vids I watch seem like that’s the case it just doesn’t make sense to me how it would be.

 

The running lights and turn signals will work.

The only stuff that won't work if your truck doesn't already have it is the BSM. If your truck isn't already equipped then you don't have the right rear bumper covers or the sensors in them to make it function. Also, you cannot have turn signal and BSM, so if your truck DOES have BSM, the turn signal mirrors will not work. At least that is my understanding.

 

Ok my next question is if I tap my white positive wire into the brown cargo light wire, what do I do with the negative gray wire?
