Has anyone found a solution to putting on tow mirrors yet? Any luck pricing out OEM ones or find a clip-on that works well? TIA.

I used clip on ones for a couple of years, then broke down and bought some GM style tow mirrors from BoostAuto. I haven't had a chance to use them towing yet, but am planning a trip in June, so, we'll see how they work. I'm impressed with them so far.

TRD dual exhaust, Rough Country lift kit and too much money spent.
I was looking at those from BoostAuto too. Any vibration at highway speed?

I know this doesn't answer your question, but we find that we can see both lanes for maybe 100 yards back with the stock mirrors on our '18. I've put a camera on the trailer for directly behind us.

Pricing on the OEM tow mirrors. Only issue is the wiring for all this since it extends with a switch.

Very little vibration at 65 mph. About the same as the stock mirrors.

Wow is it a combination of those parts for the assembly or different package options? Pricey either way.

Yeah my TT is 34’ lol, but might just give it a test run around town to see how it goes. Worst case scenario is I just pull it with my suburban for the time being that’s all set up.

Yes, pricy it is! I inquired, for me at my dealer because in Canada we can only get them on platinum model! So figured I could swap them / have them swapped out - I got the same printout but when I got $$ I didn’t even write it down! I think I scared the service manager with my reply!

Guys... I get it.... You all have figured out a solution for the 2nd Gen tundra, awesome. I'm looking for a solution for the 3rd Gen tundra, the 2022 Tundra. That's why this thread is in the 3rd Gen section.

I'm not seeing how the length matters. Ours is 8' wide which is pretty much the maximum. The length wouldn't affect line of sight past the front. I can't see either side in the mirror, but I can see far enough back into either lane to move lane to lane safely :)

Sorry, I guess I missed that yours is a 2022. I guess, for now, your only option might be mirrors from Toyota.

After some digging, it looks like the two with numbers that end in 690 and 710 both show as working with my VIN. Anyone know the difference? I would guess that it has something to do with the Advance Package and/or the Off-Road Package. Mine has the Advance package, but I can't tell from all the abbreviations, etc. which one I'd need. Hmmm...

I am thinking you could have the parts dept at your closest dealership search the part numbers by VIN to ensure they are compatible. I am not really sure for the tow mirrors though.

True, I did go ahead and send a message to a dealer with this question. Should hear something tomorrow. The good news is that you can get these for about $500 less than MSRP. Still very pricey, however. Maybe I need to find someone who doesn't want their tow mirrors and swap with them. The problem, however, is the same. Would need to make sure they are the right ones from the 4 varieties listed.

Etrailer’s website and related video identify the KS69ZR mirrors fit the 2022 Tundra. Does anyone have any real world experience with these mirrors? Are you happy with them?

Does anyone have recommendations for other clip on mirrors that work well?
