Touch Screen Not Working when CD phone holder inserted.

    Got a strange one for you all. 2016 Tundra double cab. My touchscreen recently stopped responding completely. I removed the cd slot phone holder and everything seems to be working properly. I re-inserted the CD slot phone folder and it stops responding again, removed and all is good. I've had the holder for several months with no apparent issue. Anyone else had this problem? What could be causing the issue?

    Ditch that phone mount and get something like a pro clip

    no problem on our 2017 sequoia using the cd slot phone mount.
