Finally had it happen....had to get a guy with cables to give me a jump. (Not in my Tundra though).

So what's top tier in jumper cables?

*I've considered making my own from the biggest welding cable (copper) I can lay hands on but like many projects...never get around to it.

    So?

I will second the NOCO stuff. Expensive, sure, but they work, almost to a T.
I keep one in the truck and another in my wife's Venza, and convinced a few more friends that they have more than 2 at their locations.

+1 to jump pack. I got the Harbor Freight model. Have used it a few times on a battery way past its prime (4Runner).

Another vote for portable jumper pack. Keep Noco in the vehicles but I bought an off brand as well and that ones stays with my work bag. Have had a few coworkers with dead batteries and it was easy to just hand them the jumper and let them bring it back the next day. Convenient, safe, and easy to use.

My personal Fav is a Jump Pack/Auto Air Inflator Combo - Now that is the ticket!

Many many choices of cranking amps and physical box sizes on Amazon or whatever buying site

To me they ALL suffer from one shortfall and I make up for by getting an extension air hose to add some length when I want to - those come in many lengths too and all for under $100 easy - many at $50. Luck and enjoy.

+1 on the jump pack. Takes a charge and holds it for a long time. I check mine once a month and it's always fully charged and ready to go.

    Alot of them
NoCo is one of the top brands and I highly recommend them. I had a cheaper brand and the battery swelled and started smoking on it when I was using it.
