I discovered something yeasterday. I should have noticed to long ago, but on my lift the installers mounted a bracket backwards, and it caused the coilover to sit too close to this part. I believe it s steering linkage. At first I thought it was the cv joint, but it s lower down. Does anyone know what this part is called?

Here is the bracket that s backwards, and another angle of the part that s hitting the coilover.

The offset of the top mounting bracket is supposed to be facing to the rear, and mine is facing forward, and if I turn too sharp the linkage, (circled below), comes in contact with the coilover. I still don t think reversing the bracket will solve the problem, but will give me a little more turning radius than I have now

I had shop turn the brackets around. With much relief the tie rods do not come in contact with the coilovers now. :yay:
