I’d like to get a toolbox on my 2020 but would it still attach with the rail system? It looks like it would be in the way. Anyone have one with rails installed? Thanks in advance

My Tundra came with the rail system. I installed a Weatherguard box a couple weeks later. the box fits between the rails so no issues. You just lose access to the parts of the rail system that is beside the box because there is not but maybe .75" clearance on each side. I'm not certain about that but i know it is on the small side.

Which weatherguard box did you install? Did you use the hardware that came with the box or did you get your own to mount to your deck rails or the top rails? I installed one not long ago but used the hardware included but I’m curious on using hardware that is compatible with the oem deck rail. Thanks, Merry Christmas y’all!

I used this hardware https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/dee-zee-toolbox-mounting-kit?cm_vc=-10005 It basically grabs the upper part of the rail, but it won't stay without tension on the bolt.

This is the toolbox I got https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...box-aluminum-full-size-127-52-02?cm_vc=-10005

Thanks man the pictures really help. I ordered some tool box hooks and the ones you used look like they will work.
