So i just sold my RuggedCover II cover. I did not like the fact you could not flip it all the way up hence taking up the actual space of a tool box. i sold it for 500.00 however! I am looking for a black low profile tool box that somehow uses the rail system I have so I Don't have to dill holes to mount the tool box. WHAT OPTIONS do I have? Any pics or part numbers? I have been searching for days and no luck.

DO they have latched that work in the latch system?

Most tool boxes use J-Hooks anyway that I have seen so that you don't have to drill anything.

Maybe I don't understand the question?

Just looking to utilize the rail system - looks like Truxedo has a setup and Better Built sells the mounts that you can use with their boxes or probably most others.

I still have no idea what you mean?

You can use the rail or just the built-in bedrail with any box that I have ever owned and I have had a bunch of them.

Considering that the bed rail is a structural part of the truck but the rail system is not I would sure use the bed rail before the screwed in added rail.

Unless again I still just do not understand what you are saying which I can tell you I do not.

I would rather drill the truck than have a toolbox held on by the deck rail accessory. Those rails arent THAT strong in a crash
