Hello...I have a 2012 double cab with 6 1/2 foot bed. My son and I were recently at a 4wheel parts show and in the discount area came across a discounted Tonneau cover by TonnoSport. Simple and inexpensive, like I wanted. looked it up online to double check and sure enough part number matched up with the 2012...got it home and began inspecting the box before opening and on the opposite end on that label, it states it is for a 5 1/2 foot bed. Cannot return it...my question is this...
Has anyone installed a shorter Tonneau cover than was specified for your truck? If so, what did you put in the open space? Any suggestions would be great! Thanks

    Alot of them
You wouldn't be happy with that and it would look rigged. Not to mention the amount of water and other crap that would get in the bed. I would just sell it locally and put that towards the correct one.
